Why would I want to write about Broome I hear some asking.  Why indeed and only because that I had never heard of the place until I heard from one of it’s residents.  I didn’t hear directly from this particular resident, only via a rather active Forum I visit.  Lets just call him Jeremy and leave it at that.  More of him later after this short introduction to Broome.

Now lets return to “Jeremy”.  He is by all accounts barking mad.  I can only conclude that it is the heat down there in Broome that has got to him.  His writings and ravings can only be described as unbelievably complex and straight from the X Files and Conspiracy Theory central. 

Here is a small and rather tasteless example of his latest “theory”…

“Re prince Harry the Nazi
The Jews or I should say Mossad would not be in existence today, had it not been for British and American intervention during the second world war. 
Mossad are Very grateful to British intelligence for there help in liberating the Jewish people and destroying the nazi's.
joesph mengele and claus barbie were two pedophiles who were with the gestapo, they were responsible for the rape torture and murders of jewish children. they were also carrying out experiments on the children”.

I reproduce his writings to make sure my readers do not mistake his ravings for any opinions of mine!

This is the first line from another one of his musings.

“The da Vinci code contains a factual account of the Christian invasion of northern Europe” .

Finally, another;

“Be warned about boose imports into England.the latest trick is to manufacture booze using industrial alcohol”.

There are several more of these somewhat crazy assertions that make amusing reading.  However, the more worrying “Jeremy” is writing such things its that his “air space” on line is being shared by several other “theorists” with different but sometimes equally outlandish views on life in modern Britain, politics and  education in our schools.  Some of them are actually politicians and teachers!!!

I will leave this subject alone now as I fear any attempt to challenge some of the proponents will return to long term abuse. (bring it on I say!)
