Given that we seem to be completely tounge tied as far as Spanish is concerned these days and give all the lessons we have had we dicided that we had to overcome this and make an effort. So off we went to the market today and Val ( I confess to being an observer only) managed to buy a huge variety of fruit and veg in a cross between sign language and a passableSpanish that was not questioned by on vendor! Well done Val.
Then it was off to our current favorite restaurant for a €9.5o "menu del dia" a three course meal of onion bahji a curry and a pud!!! Now it was truly Indian but with a Spanish twist, that is to say not hot and quite salty!! But it was close to being a pukka Indian job - the best so far!!
The car saga kicks off again next week!!
