Cuts and more cuts – an economy in recovery?

If anyone thought that somehow the economy was going to recover without some sort of pain then think again.  There was an election, admittedly without the clear majority anyone needed or indeed wanted, and cuts were promised.  Hard times were forecast and people [the electorate] demanded action be taken and action was taken, is being taken and more will follow.  Great, just what we need?  Oh no, now we have people whingeing beyond the realms of sanity.  Students are unwilling to pay for an education AFTER having had 12 years of FREE education up to Secondary level and now they want another 3 years free?  Who pays? The Tax Payer pays.  Pensioners (I admit I am a pensioner) are now demanding that their FREE travel passes are not limited in an effort by Local Government to cut costs!  Why?  Because they want to travel BEFORE 9:30 in the morning!  Why?  Because they are stupid!!!  I despair.

So, without listing all the areas that are to be cut let me just ponder just how these cuts everyone needs and want (?) going to be met without anyone feeling the pinch?  I think I know the answer.  “The rich and those greedy banks have to pay” … oh yes. How without making us all pay in the end anyway?

So my message to everyone is to stop flaming moaning get your wallets out an just pay up and get on with it, after all, you can’t take it with you!

PS: Those flaming “celebs” are back on the rampage again, this time it’s all about the worlds biggest trouble make since, Hitler, Ghegis Khan, Stalin, Ho.. you name them…. But oh poor Mr Assange is a “hero” .. No, sorry he’s an idiot.   Send him down I say, 50 years on Devils Island that'll teach him.
